Hi, I’m Jo and for as long as I can remember I’ve eaten chocolate for breakfast.
It probably started at Christmas or Easter as a child, when I would rip open my advent calendar, eat half a selection box or a chunk of Easter egg before 8am. Or maybe it was the 80s breakfast staples of Coco Pops, Nutella and Nesquik that got me hooked.
Perhaps one day I’ll grow up and be a proper adult. But when you are juggling looking after two gorgeous little ones, freelance work, caring for relatives and everything else the day throws at you, caffeine and chocolate at the crack of dawn really does work.
